I love watching children grow, learn, and make progress throughout the year. Knowing that I am making a positive difference in each child’s life is what makes this job so meaningful to me.
I believe every child has the ability to learn and succeed when they are given the right support and encouragement. I strive to help each student reach mastery in every area while building their confidence, independence, and love for learning. My goal is for every child who leaves my classroom to feel prepared, capable, and excited for their next step, whatever that may be.

I have had the privilege of working as a substitute teacher for all grades for a couple years and even speech therapy for a year. I worked 17 years in preschool, and I have learned so much. I am very grateful for the honor of working at Morning Star Preparatory Academy. I love the little children and am so thankful to be able to mold the hearts of the beautiful little preschoolers. I truly hope I can help make a big difference.

Lindsey Kingston
This is my 5th year teaching at Morning Star and I'm so excited to teach again this year! I graduated in July of 2025 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In my classroom, I focus on keeping parents up to date on things like behavior and grades, and encourage my students to have a strong tie to their parents, especially their fathers. I have a lot of patience with kids, and use every opportunity I can as a learning opportunity to teach rules, procedures, and character development. I include Heavenly Father wherever I can in my classroom, whether that's during the Bible lesson, teaching students to take care of things, and even at meal times.

Trinda Mason
I am so excited to get to know you and your child this year! This will be my sixth year at Morning Star. My goal is to help each child reach their fullest potential in a classroom where they feel loved, safe, and encouraged. I believe learning should be fun, while also helping children understand when it's time to focus, work hard, and always do their best. I am grateful for the opportunity to include the gospel in our daily learning, and I look forward to partnering with you as mothers and fathers to help your child grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
