MSPA Picture Day
September 1, 2026
Picture Day is coming up! All students will have their picture taken, so please make sure your child comes to school dressed appropriately and in compliance with our school uniform.
Health First Wellness Check-ups
September 8th- 10th
Our amazing doctors at Health First will be coming to Morning Star to provide wellness checkups and help make sure our children are healthy and thriving! Wellness checkup results will be mailed directly to parents.
Spirity Day
September 11th
Fire Safety Day
The West Valley City Fire Department will be coming out to teach our students all about Fire Safety. Our students will learn how to recognize fire dangers and what to do in an emergency.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are the perfect time to connect with your child's teacher and talk about their growth, learning and development. Our teachers are here to support you on your journey and work with you to help your child thrive!
Monster Hunt
Monster Hunt is coming to Morning Star! This fun, kid-friendly event features silly, friendly, and not-so scary monsters along with exciting activities and learning opportunities. Our goal is to spark imagination, encourage curiosity, and create a fun experience that every child can enjoy!
Fall Break
Optional Family Activities to try out:
-Go on a Fall leaf walk/hunt- find as many colors, shapes and sizes as possible.
-Outdoor picnic
-Make a fall treat together​
-Pick out a pumpkin to take home and decorate​​
